Things I miss about Islay: long walks to nowhere; bathing in lakes; nighttime smokes after a homemade dinner; breakfast outside watching the sun over the paps of Jura; morning cigarettes; cute bistros with flowery wallpaper; nighttime photography trips; baking non-edible cakes; shops that sold cannabis incense sticks and dangling crystals; running into the ocean with only underwear on; the constant smell of whiskey; random buses into town; the ferry trips; eating m&ms 24/7; picnics by this lake; playing bullshit and scabby queen; listening to City and Colour before sleeping; impulsive hair dying and collecting sea glass.
